Betsey Johnson
New York designer Betsey Johnson follows her own set of rules. She has been rocking the fashion industry with her unique and original designs since the 1960’s.
Ms. Johnson was part of the 1960’s Warhol scene with Edie Sedgwick was her house model, and John Cale (of Velvet Underground) wore her designs both on-stage and off.
A survivor of breast cancer, Betsey continues to be a strong advocate in the fight against the disease, making public appearances, participating in numerous fund raising events and creating one-of-a-kind items that have been auctioned off to raise funds for various charities.

I've always loved her over the top personality and those crazy, Cyndi Lauper, rocker girl on acid styles of hers.
I had no idea that she suffered from breast cancer. Good luck to her and all the others out there fighting this disease.
