After Cancer Housekeeping

Just like everyone else this time of year gets a little crazy in our home. Between Thanksgiving, my darling daughter's 5th birthday and Christmas things get a little hairy. My husband works for the postal service and that's like being married to an accountant at tax time.

That's my way of saying that I may not be posting daily as I usually do. After the new year I am planning to sit down with someone to work on the design of my site so you may notice some changes, hopefully for the better.

With the insecurity that exists in my work there will continue to be advertising. I'll do my best to keep it to a minimum but never in my career has there been such a sense of employment insecurity. I don't expect to make a living with this blog and that is not it's purpose but as we all know a few extra dollars can make a difference.

Do you have a story related to cancer that you'd like to share? I am open to submissions if you have something you would like to write. If you have suggestions about the design of the blog please share. What can I do to make this blog better for you?

I started blogging because I was having difficulty adjusting to like after cancer. I've learned that I am not alone, there are a lot of people who have problems adjusting. It turns out some of my readers haven't had cancer but they've had problems adjusting with other things as well. Survivorship is a growing area of research and that is thanks to people like you who are willing to share the stories of your own life.

So let me know what you like, what you need or what you can't stand. I personally think I have the best readers anywhere but of course I'm biased.

I loved your article – it was some great information. I think you and your readers might be interested in another article I found, about Medical & Dry Eyes.
